EXHIBITION OVERVIEW
The Black Art Today Foundation is proud to present Convergence at Gallery B. This exhibition explores creative intersections where distinct artistic voices and mediums collide, moving beyond isolated objects to show how different philosophies elevate one another. Themes include The Shared Canvas, Harmony in Discord, Stylistic Collisions, and The Space Between.
Rather than viewing art through the lens of solitary creation, this exhibition celebrates the dynamic dialogue of collaboration and the striking contrasts of deliberate juxtaposition. It is a testament to the idea that the whole can be radically different—and profoundly more complex—than the sum of its parts.
This exhibition asks both the artist and the audience to look beyond the isolated object and consider the relationships between the elements. Visitors will engage with the tension and the harmony present in the gallery, observing how different creative philosophies can co-exist, clash, and ultimately elevate one another in a shared space.
The exhibit features the artwork of the following artists: David Amoroso, Marie Antoinette, Tanya Bracey, Nicole Brooks, Larry Poncho Brown, Karen Y. Buster, Anita Henley Carrington, David WM Cassidy, Mary Claggett, Kaylee Daryl, Jay Durrah, Temi Wynston Edun, Kelani Fatai, Nicole M Fisher, Emery Franklin, John Henderson Jr, Roger James, Sarah Jones, Arvid S. Lee, Russell Lewis, Janice MacLean, Erasto Curtis Matthews, Chris Metzger, Dr. Rikiesha Metzger, James Murphy, Jr., Zsudayka Nzinga, Esther Okehi, Luis Del Valle Peralta, Genevieve Phelps, Dion Pollard, Babacar Pouye, Tinnetta Putney, Qrcky, Alma Roberts, Levi Robinson, Suzette Royster, Dr. Yemonja Smalls, Ashley Summers, James Stephen Terrell, Janet B. Waters, Luther Wright, Kwaku Ofori-Yirenkyi, and David Zambrano
This event is partially funded by MSAC.
