This beautiful blue ceramic vase is made by artist Valda Cox. Cox is a native of Riga, Latvia, and has been a full time potter for over 40 years. Her main expertise lies in porcelain. She is known for the depth and brilliance of the colors in her glazes. This particular vase has a large belly, and a very short, round neck. The belly of the vase is is sculpted upwards in an oblong shape. The color is a deep, rich blue with a white base. The base contains the artist's first name as a signature.
