Patricia Klinger is a retired elementary and middle school teacher who resides in northern Columbia County. She has been painting for over twenty years and currently studies with Karen Nicolls. Because of their intense color, pastels have become her medium of choice. This medium allows her to layer and blend color in a manner, which eventually brings desired effects. Inspiration for her work comes from the PA countryside and from the various places she has traveled. She enjoys working on both still life and landscape paintings. Her work has been displayed at several local art shows, at the Packwood House Museum in Lewisburg and at the B&S Gallery in Williamsport. Her paintings hang in private collections throughout the United States.
