The Gallery at Penn College hosts a rotating schedule of solo, group, and traveling exhibitions, and is free and open to the public year-round.
MessageBorn in 1961 in Toledo, Ohio, George Eric Bowes graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art (BFA, 1984) and the University of California, Davis (MFA, 2001). He received Individual Artist Fellowships from the Ohio Arts Council and Arts Midwest/NEA Regional, and his works are in public and private collections including the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian, Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, and the Alfred Ceramic Art Museum at Alfred University. Bowes creates functional vessels and sculptural objects with a distinctive color and vivid pattern.
