Since 1980, the Temiskaming Art Gallery (TAG) has been pivotal in promoting and showcasing visual art in northeastern Ontario.
Message
The work was inspired by a canoe trip on a lake in Temiskaming where we floated and fished for trout. The black and white print represents the stillness of a summer evening. Small lino cuts give energy to the final print, while black and white for lino prints satisfies some kind of internal need for a graphic image.
