Chemins Vers St. Raymond by Lionel Venne Image: This work is a collage of papers that I had made. It is an impression from memory of the small church of St. Raymond when I was a child. To attend we often travelled by sleigh and horse in the winter. The church and village has almost all disappeared. (It was named ‘Asses’ on Highway 65 west). The local landscape is my source of inspiration – its forms, hills, farmland and horizon lines.
