PRIDE SHOW 2026 CDMX

Applications Open

PRIDE SHOW 2026 CDMX

Some contexts don’t need to be built. They arrive already charged.

ESCÁNDALO is one of them.

This exhibition is supported by the Secretaría de Cultura de la Ciudad de México and will take place at Centro Cultural El Rule—positioned directly within the city’s cultural corridor, and on the Pride 2026 parade route.

At the same time, Mexico City will be hosting the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Which is to say: the audience is already here. Moving through the city. Looking, consuming, passing through—and sometimes, if the work insists, stopping.

This is where the exhibition lives.

We are opening the call for artists whose work can hold that kind of pressure—work that doesn’t dissolve into spectacle, but pushes back against it. Work that understands visibility not as exposure, but as a condition to be negotiated.

The deadline to apply is May 2nd.

APPLY

The timeline is fixed. The structure is already in motion.

Collectivo members, as well as artists living and working in Mexico (INE credential holders), may request an application code to waive the submission fee. This is part of our ongoing commitment to sustaining local practice within the conditions we’re building together.

If the work is ready—or even if it’s still forming—this is the moment to place it.
