Works at the threshold of photography and textile, shaping soft image-objects that respond to light, space, and the quiet drift between presence and absence.
Message*Iris Form (Twilight)* draws from a photographic origin that has been carried into two layers of textile through sublimation transfer. During this material mediation, heat and pressure introduce gentle misalignments and tonal drift across the translucent polyester. Stretched over a hand-built walnut frame. The work sustains figuration at the threshold of clarity—legible yet materially diffused—as the surface shifts subtly with changing light. It operates as a quiet study in how a photographic form dissolves into atmospheric presence while retaining a concentrated, tactile immediacy.
