Works at the threshold of photography and textile, shaping soft image-objects that respond to light, space, and the quiet drift between presence and absence.
Message*Botanical Veil* draws from a five-layer photographic study of a petal, here distilled into a single textile fragment that carries the atmospheric softness of its source. Sublimated onto lightweight polyester, the image settles into the fabric with gentle tonal shifts rather than hard definition, allowing the botanical figure to hover between recognition and dissolution. Stretched on a handmade wooden frame but left partially free at the edges, the surface responds subtly to light, activating faint secondary shadows that extend the work into its surroundings. It becomes a quiet study in photographic figuration—where a botanical form is translated into material presence, and the image remains permeable, shifting, and alive within its spatial frame.
