This week I completed what I had started to do in January. Being that I had all but disappeared for the last few years, even though I've been making artwork all along, I haven't been active in showing work publicly. All that is about to change (if the Juries agree). I'm currently awaiting decisions on a couple of exhibits I've entered. More on that after the jury returns.
The other project for the last month and a week has been re-establishing my business. With a new name and a new set of goals and accounts. The new official name of my art practice, which I spent a long time considering, has become T.A. Sundberg Arts. Still a sole proprietorship, still in the same place, but with a name that will allow me to work beyond the limits of the original two name I used. I am leaving behind my original Mountain Lake Graphics and the last version Mountain Lake Studio. The first was drawing too many graphic art queries and the second because there is a design company in Pennsylvania name Mountain Lake Studio that has had the name much longer than I did. I became aware of this by internet search last year. I wish them a prosperous new year, thank you, and may we meet one day.
T.A. Sundberg Arts will be venturing into continuing artmaking and exhibiting, also looking at offering prints and cards. Additionally, I will be writing and adding to the 80+ poems I've scribbled down over the decades.
