This painting is inspired by the sacred bond of women as protectors, guides, and carriers of ancestral wisdom. The four female figures ride together on a single bicycle, symbolizing unity, shared purpose, and the collective journey through time and memory. Each woman represents a different facet of guardianship—intuition, strength, beauty, and vision—embodying a deep connection to nature, spirit, and heritage.

Set against the surreal backdrop of the Baja California desert—where towering cacti, palm silhouettes, and dusty pink skies blend into a dreamscape—this scene evokes a ceremonial passage through space and spirit. The owl, perched above, watches over them with silent wisdom, reinforcing their roles as spiritual sentinels.

At the front of the bicycle, a hare appears—alert, agile, and instinctive. In many traditions, the hare symbolizes rebirth, cleverness, and transformation. Here, it acts as a guide and messenger, sensing unseen forces and leading the guardians forward on their journey.
