This is an offspring of a pair of eagles that nest not far from my house. I enjoyed seeing them perched in this tree on the edge of the lake. The eagle is an iconic bird, beautiful and majestic, and even in its youth it is incredible. Bald Eagles do not mature until their 4th or 5th year.
