My husband and I were fortunate to be immersed in the arts while living in Japan for 11 years (1989-2000). I studied sumie and watercolour painting in Tokyo. I have also taken a course at Melanie Furtado Sculpture Studio in Victoria, BC. I am a gallery co-owner featuring Canadian Indigenous art in downtown Victoria. Since opening the gallery in 2001, I have participated in four art shows in France, in La Roche Sur Foron, Annecy, and an art expo in Nimes. My paintings were selected for the annual art expo in Beijing, China in 2016.
