Kathleen Terrio is actually an English teacher at the University of Victoria. She has painted on and off for over 30 years. Her style is abstract, she enjoys painting animals as well. She paints for pure enjoyment but has privately and at festivals sold some of her paintings. This particular painting is 3 dimensional with cutouts as well to create a whimsical style of the happier days of Takaya.
