My name is Ann Cochrane and I am from Victoria BC. I have had a passion for art for as long as I can remember and have worked in a multitude of mediums including sketching, clay, jewelry, pastel and about 10 years ago discovered a new passion and spark for Watercolor painting. Painting has become my main focus since I started and gives me great joy and peace. I find watercolor painting has a calming, thoughtful affect on myself and others. Although watercolor paints are what I use I have also done several painting using a water soluble metallic powder to enhance certain areas of my work. A glowing affect if you will. My paintings are quite detailed. I am primarily self taught and really just is a hobby at this point in my life.
