Astoria is a 2008 personal concept art piece inspired by my time in NYC and love for Art Deco. The central building is an exaggerated version of the Astoria, echoes the Twin Towers in 1976 King Kong. It later inspired my work on Boardwalk Empire at HBO, which earned me an Emmy for VFX. www.edwardgrad.com
