This photograph, part of Echoes of Los Angeles in Street Signs, features the Firestone service center near Wilshire Blvd and La Brea Ave. Its iconic neon sign is a prime example of Streamline Moderne architecture. Inspired by this location's mystery, it also connects to my two decades in Hollywood.
