I received my BFA from Colorado State University and my MFA in ceramics from the University of California, Los Angeles. My primary medium is clay. The work is rooted in pottery but is generally non-functional. My work consistently has been engaged with the ideas of fragmentation and reconstruction. I am also interested in pattern decoration and sometimes the theme of my work is overtly political.
