An old practice violin (sparkly blue, no less) has been reimagined as a dazzling peacock. Parts of the original violin have been incorporated into a body sculpted from epoxy clay, and brought to full color with acrylic paints. The chin rest has become the striped shoulder and wing, violin strings have become a perky crest, and if you look closely at a few of those tail feathers, you will see that they started out as violin pegs.
