My work explores identity as something constructed rather than inherent.

In “Be YOU. Be TRUE,” the figure is not simply dressed — she is built. Layers of clothing, textures, and visual references form a visible structure of the self, where comfort, style, and branding merge into a single surface. Importantly, the clothing is handmade by the woman herself, turning self-styling into an act of literal self-construction. The presence of recognizable consumer symbols does not define her, but reveals the environment that try to shapes her.

Within the context of “Made in America,” the work shifts from representation to proposition: identity is no longer something given — it is assembled under cultural pressure and in resistance to its norms.

Age here is not concealed but intensified. The body refuses invisibility, asserting its presence through self-styling. The figure becomes both subject and artifact — autonomous and constructed.
