A symbol of guardianship, ritual, loyalty and spirit. They teach us to trust our hearts and our minds. I spent an hour at the Wolf Sanctuary in Colorado Springs to photograph these friendly, social and very intelligent animals. When they all would howl it would send shivers down my spine.
