"Enchantress" included in ANIMALIA exhibition by Art Fluent

So honored to have my ceramic sculpture "Enchantress" included in ANIMALIA, an international virtual exhition curated by Amy Matteson Neill of Art Fluent. This piece, which is part of the Sea Dancer Series, was created out of white stoneware clay and glazed a golden bronze color.

Although the nudibranch and the marine flatworm are two different sea creatures in their physiology, they both greatly inspire my ceramic sculptural work by their beauty and grace. As I am eternally fascinated by the purity of form and fluidity within the seas' depths, these gorgeous sea dancers are perfect specimens to focus on. Although this is what has inspired me, I prefer others to draw their own meanings and interpretations from my work (and I love to hear about it) 😊.

About the exhibition:

ANIMALIA

"Animals have been depicted in art for thousands of years, representing a wide range of symbolism, from grace and speed to strength and nobility to transformation and freedom. But we can all agree that they are beautiful and captivating, and we will forever be drawn to their natural beauty and power. ANIMALIA shares the beauty and complexity of this fascinating world.'
