During the first phase of the lockdown, I started stitching daily patches using two very disparate fabrics from those I have designed on my iPad. The tension in these differences reflected the inner and outer stress of our changing world. The individual pieces were used in several different art works made in spring and summer of 2020. Despite their origin in a stressed out world, the work presents a cheerful energy that speaks of resilience and grit.
