A memory for me that I will cherish forever is the trip I took to Ireland in 2010. I saw these beautiful fields of heather and the rolling green hills and it was breathtaking. What a wonderful opportunity to see this country and to now be able to put life to it through art. The song title and lyrics refer to Scotland's heather. This trip is on my bucket list and how joyful it will be to sit among the fields and paint another view of this gorgeous flower.
