Rothkoesque color field abstract landscape

"Grace" is a painting comprised of many, many layers of translucent creamy glazes. My paintings seek to represent a view of an interior emotional landscape. That interior "landscape" is my emotional weather and it is always changing. This particular painting went through many iterations before it became peaceful and "there" to me. It holds a tortuous journey but one that was redeemed in the end, hence the name.
