Post Oak is one of are most prevalent trees. It has struggled in the past 30 years with climate change and pestilence. I sure hope that we can overcome this for trees sake and ours.

It has been a dry warm late summer/early fall. Our last bad drought was in 2011, hopefully this drought will not be as bad as that one. Our dry weather is probably responsible for this early fall for this post oak.

Susan Tyler creates fine art both in her studio and plein aire. She has carved out an art space for doing just that in the woods of central Texas. She loves to work with a client to create an image of a particular memory; something that will bring joy to the viewer for years to come.

For existing paintings, Susan charges $2.75 per square inch, plus shipping and handling of $30-$75, depending on painting size and shipping destination. Susan also takes order for commissions, which require a 20% down payment. In such cases, shipping and handling charges will depend on the size and nature of the commissioned work.
