The Marsh in Spring

There is a protected wetland at Medicine Beach in Bedwell Harbour, a favourite place that has beautiful and unique foliage at any time of year but spring is my favourite season. This textile work mounted onto watercolour paper is enhanced with the addition of stitch and silk overlay. It is mounted onto a varnished deep wooden cradle with back wire for hanging.
