Palais de Rei

Focusing on the layers created by the buildings in towns and cities in northern Spain, these collages incorporate vistas across the tops of churches and towers of the old buildings.

I have used both fabric and paper which has been printed on gel plates - a form of monoprinting which allows for subtle colour mixing and depth in the prints, each one is unique and special. I have chosen different colour combinations, some realistic and some imaginary.
