As a visual artist, I am deeply drawn to the interplay of color, light, and form. This relationship lies at the heart of my work and reflects a lifelong connection to the natural world. Growing up immersed in the outdoors—surrounded by flora, trees, oceans, lakes, and animals—I developed an enduring appreciation for the harmony and beauty found in nature. These early experiences continue to inspire my creative process and are woven into much of my art.

My body of work spans a variety of forms, including three-dimensional display art based on landscapes and aquatic themes, functional pieces such as small plates and bowls that explore color interactions in glass, and jewelry that emphasizes rich tones, light, and linear movement. Whether functional or abstract, each piece I create is rooted in my fascination with the unique properties of glass and how it transforms under heat and light.

Glass, as a medium, offers endless possibilities. I often find inspiration in stained glass, blown glass forms, and mosaics—reinterpreting them through the lens of fused glass. While many fused glass artists focus on functionality, my deep reverence for nature drives me to explore depth, dimension, pattern, and color in my work. I aim to evoke the same sense of wonder and peace I feel in natural environments.

Travel, music, and exposure to different cultures also enrich my perspective, informing both the visual language and emotional tone of my pieces. Ultimately, working with glass allows me to explore the dynamic dance between light, shape, and color while providing a meditative, grounding connection to the world around me.
