It's a beautiful day. A beautiful, peaceful day.
I'm riding my bike along the river in the upper panhandle of Idaho, and I'm just taking it all in for a minute. It's so peaceful here—the smell of pine trees is thick in the air, and there's no one else around except for the occasional fellow bicyclist. The sun's rising over the mountains to my left, and it looks like it might be a gorgeous sunrise.
I stop my bike and take out my phone to get a picture of this moment. It's a perfect time to reflect on how lucky we are to have such beautiful surroundings.
