Message
The deep magenta of this waterlily bloom lends a richness to the floral painting of waterlilies on the pond at Hyde Hall, in Essex. Painted in pure watercolour, I employed liberal washes to enjoy the textural look of the granulation effect, in the deep tones of water and weeds.
