As I drove by Davenport, I saw a man sitting in front of Arro’s Market, who looked down on his luck, perhaps a victim of Covid in some way. As I stopped and asked him if I could paint him, a ray of light appeared, which seemed to personify to me that he and we might be coming towards a better time…
