The haptic archeology fragments possess the contradictions of positive and negative space. Finger drawings in clay are cast in gypsum cement, becoming bones of touch, memory, and identity relating to our phenomenological experience. I connect how clay is flesh; these marks represent human intervention on earth, recorded symbols of our somatic experience.
