Cool Down is a painting of my youngest daughter walking along a nature trail in late summer during the pandemic. It’s based on a photo I took as she walked ahead of me. She was mad and she didn't want to walk alongside me. I was inspired by two things that day, the dappled sunlight and her self-determination.
Recently, Cool Down was exhibited at the Muskegon Museum of Art in the 93rd Michigan Contemporary Art Exhibition.
