Animalia International Print Exchange 2015
Printmaking Sisters invite printmakers from around the globe to join us in this exchange. All entries will be exhibited at The Milk Factory Gallery in Bowral NSW Australia in 2015 Proceeds of exhibition sales will go to World Animal Protection. http://www.worldanimalprotection.org.au/

RULES OF THE EXCHANGE:
THEME
“Animalia” Be liberal with your interpretation as you respond to this encompassing theme.
Definition: The animal kingdom, the taxonomic kingdom comprising all living or extinct animals including: sponges, worms, insects, fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals.
PAPER SIZE
Paper size strictly 12cm square or 4.7 inches square. Images can be printed edge to edge or on any part of the paper. Use archival printmaking paper. Please do not send a CD case.
TECHNIQUES
Intaglio, Relief, Collagraphy, Stencil, Lithography, Letterpress, Serigraphy/screen prints or any combination of these hand printed methods are accepted
NUMBER OF PRINTS
Maximum 2 editions per person. Each artist will create an edition of 10 prints signed and numbered (1/10, 2/10, 3/10...etc) and mail to: Printmaking Sisters, PO Box 3328 Robertson NSW 2577 AUSTRALIA
One print is to be donated to the exhibition for sale - the proceeds pledged to WAP
Eight prints will be exchanged and you will be sent a random selection in return
One set will remain with the organisers for exhibition then to be permanently housed in the National Gallery of Australia
Each print needs the artist’s name, title, and medium in pencil on the back

EXHIBITION
The prints will be exhibited in CD cases at The Milk Factory Gallery in Bowral.
ONLINE EXHIBITION
When the prints and fees arrive, images of the prints will be uploaded to the online catalogue, along with your artist statement.

$20AU in Australia
International (outside Australia) $25 - Australian Dollars by Pay Pal
Please note: Questions have arisen regarding the cost for entering two editions to the exchange - as this is a fundraiser for animals desperately in need as well as an exchange between artists, we hope you will understand that an entry fee for both editions needs to be paid to offset the associated costs of the exhibition and handling.
