Hand tinted press printed Monoprint using Dragonfly wings and Tarragon

This piece was created by inking wings from a Shadow darner and wild botanicals and press printing them onto Rives heavyweight etching paper that had been "antiqued" by staining with coffee .

The impressions and background were then lightly tinted with transparent washes created with resin based Chromacolour.

The print was then sign in Kanji and sealed with a chop, in the Artist's name, Mutsugoroh

This one of kind original is unframed, but can be archivally double matted and framed for $400.
