Recently we took a boat trip out to the seal colony at the entrance of Sandwich Bay in Kent. We were watching the pups and adult seals basking on the bank in the sun when this young one popped her head out of the water to look at us. When she decided we were watching him, she then jumped out of the water.
This young seal was the inspiration for a couple of new paintings.
