This piece was inspired by a random and delightful conversation that happened with a stranger while walking down a cobbled street in Orvieto, Italy in the summer of 2015 that ended up at a café. Despite our language differences, we were able to cobble together an understanding while enjoying espresso and a croissant. The painting celebrates the connections we have at our fingertips if we are only open to them.
