Michael Green, The Giant Banana Slug, 2017, glass reinforced concrete (GFRC) over polystyrene (ESP) foam, modified polycarbamide paint, 30 x 19 x 102.5 inches, Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford, Main. Banana slugs are the 2nd largest slug in the world. This version is large for dramatic effect, made of concrete, and painted a bright yellow—true to the slug’s natural color.
