This was inspired by by one of the views During one of my night shifts at Vancouver General Hospital. Working as an RN, I walk with people through some of the most difficult times And transitions in their lives. Being in these moments and then looking up and out to the expanse of water and sky It reminds me of the connection, ebb and flow and continuity of all things. It was sunset and the break in the clouds highlighted one area on the water in a beautiful glow. It was impossible to not feel that connection and be inspired at that moment. Greatful I had the opportunity to paint a version of what I saw and felt.
