Artist's note on back: "In the Fall of each year in mid-80's, I'd journey up to Denali Highway and spend 5 or 6 days, at the start of the moose season. It was a painting trip, but I'd carry my rifle just in case. This flimsy old cabin wasn't far off the road - wasn't much left. Mosquitoes whined in and out. S.G. "
