For about a year in the mid-80s in his downtown Anchorage warehouse studio, the artist did drawings of this couple, both clothed and nude. The work eventually became a large painting with life-size naked, entwined figures, oil on linen 48 x 96 inches. At the same time oil prices and the economy of Alaska unfortunately collapsed, and the couple had to move back to the Lower 48 before the painting was completed. Another grand Alaska story. Eight related drawings: SG-762, 763, 764, 766, 767, 768, 768 and 910.
