In the Chugach State Park lands -- probably in McHugh Creek Park -- along Turnagain Arm (named by Captain Cook in 1778) just south of Anchorage, Alaska. Big boulders in the foreground, willow, alders, big spruce trees, and Turnagain Arm water. Dark area at top of drawing is the dark reflection of the mountains across the water, on the Kenai Peninsula. Drawing number 2 of 2 done of this view on this date.
