Visual artist (and musician) Kenny Putnam was born in South Dakota. He attended the University of Iowa where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting and a Master’s Degree in journalism with emphasis on graphic arts. In the 1990s after traveling the world, he returned to Rapid City, SD. He established Image Up, a business providing graphic design, fine arts work, and restoration of historical photographs and documents. Kenny’s work is featured in award-winning books and commercial publications, gallery exhibits and in several private collections.
