this painting's title: Swirling Light, is a collage made of hand cut leaf shapes fromrecycled paper from junk-mail and others. they're layered and painted in various shades of green. The gold foiled leaves are cut from chocolate wrappers and butter, etc in various shades of gold. They sit in a pile and swirl out into the forest
When I see the leaf piles get picked up by the wind and have its dance twirling in the air, I'm in awe of how wonderful it would be to float in the air like that. A dancing, twirling and weightless, giving us a sense of the lightness of being.
