Ribbons of Memory Series:
In “The Nightingale” Kristin Hannah writes of a tree with fabric pieces tied to it in remembrance of lost loved ones.
It prompted me to think of the thousands of interactions and experiences we have in a lifetime, and the brain’s limitation to remember them all.
Fortunately, our senses also record moment fragments: ribbons of memory.
