A sweet little puff-ball of a European Robin (Erithacus rubecula) painted in watercolor on Arches 140lb paper. You'll find them in the forest undergrowth and edge, farmland woodlots, thickets along watercourses, hedgerows with some tall trees, orchards, gardens, and parks in Great Britain and other European countries.
I just love their curious, and often saucy, personalities, which I tried to capture in this piece.
