The School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University marks its 150th anniversary with SMFA150: Artists for a Changing World, a special exhibition featuring work by New York–based alumni at Pace Gallery.
Curated by Asya Geisberg, Diploma '95, Fifth-Year Certificate '96, the exhibition is SMFA’s first alumni presentation in New York City and reflects the school’s long-standing commitment to experimentation, boundary‑pushing practice, and artistic innovation.
For 150 years, SMFA at Tufts has been a bold leader in art education. Renowned for its interdisciplinary approach and distinctive pedagogy, the school has nurtured generations of creative visionaries. By supporting artists across identities and practices, SMFA equips graduates to challenge conventions and lead sustainable creative lives across art, design, and culture.
