Tock Tick (Print)

A large, colorful, abstract painting that fit perfectly into the 2012 Burning Man theme of "fertility" - this 60 x 84 in unstretched canvas was brought into the desert for Burning Man and the desert promptly made it its own. Covered in playa dust - this work is still vibrant with black and white checkerboard patterns, inside an undulating striped border that depicts the earth, sky,and sun. The figure of a woman hangs to one side, her appendages outstretched far beyond what a normal human body is to be. She is surrounded by abstract shapes that evoke thoughts of the womb, love, birth, time, the seasons, and money. Original Painting by Skye Lucking (Prints of this work are also available.)
