An onboard souvenir pin purchased during Titanic's rescue mission, owned by Carpathia passengers James and Mabel Fenwick.
James and Mabel Fenwick were newlyweds beginning a three month honeymoon trip to Europe aboard the RMS Carpathia. They departed New York on April 11, 1912, not knowing that a mere four days later the Carpathia would come to save over 700 survivors from the most famous shipping disaster of all time. Early on the morning of April 15, Mabel Fenwick was woken up by a man’s voice crying, “Titanic’s gone down!” Mabel rushed on deck with her camera and began taking photographs, many of which still exist today in some of the world's best collections.
